About Us

We are a community-based social enterprise anchored in the Western Region of Ghana, built to ensure opportunity is no longer determined by geography.

The Story Behind the Name

Bozoma Innovation Hub is named after Bozoma, the grandmother of our founder — a woman who, even from her sickbed, thinks first of others. Her life has been a quiet, consistent demonstration that the most powerful form of leadership is care: for family, for community, for the person standing in front of you.

The Hub bears her name not as sentiment, but as a commitment. Every decision we make, every person we serve, every partnership we form is held up against a simple question: would this make Bozoma proud?

BIH was founded by a son of the Nzemaland, a remote community in the Western Region of Ghana, who grew up knowing that talent and potential were never the problem in his community — opportunity was. Built with his wife, family, and a growing circle of friends who share the same belief, BIH began as a personal commitment and is now being formalized into a lasting institution. It is rooted in the place it was born, built by the diaspora, and dedicated to the people who stayed.

Our Mission

To unlock the potential of people in underserved communities in the Nzemaland in Ghana’s Western Region by providing structured learning, practical skills, mentorship, and a physical hub for enterprise and innovation, so that opportunity is no longer determined by geography.

Our Vision

An Nzemaland where young people and aspiring entrepreneurs have access to world-class mentorship, practical enterprise support, and a physical hub that is a genuine source of community pride, economic activity, and generational opportunity.

Our Core Values

Care First

We lead with genuine concern. This is not charity, it is solidarity. We believe in the dignity and capability of every person who walks through our doors.

Accountability

We track outcomes honestly and transparently — to our community, our funders, and ourselves — without letting bureaucracy burden the people we serve.

Patience & Persistence

We are building an institution, not running a campaign. Meaningful change takes years, not months. We commit to being here for the long haul.
